1. The Plaintiff is a person of good character and reputation and is a member of the institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
2. The impugned articles that were published in the daily newspaper l’Express of 1st November 2016, on the website l’express.mu on 12th November 2016 and in L’Express samedi of 5 November 2016 concerned the Plaintiff.
3. The Defendants withdraw all the allegations and imputations of facts to the effect that Plaintiff was being recruited anew for the post of Company Secretary of Air Mauritius Ltd due to her family ties.
4. The Defendants did not intend to cause any harm to the Plaintiff but in case any damage or prejudice has been caused, the Defendants tender their sincere regrets to the Plaintiff.’’
