Stuck amidst this hopeless crowd

I try, try and try to unleash myself from this oppressive society.

I take a deep breath,

My inner Goddess talks to me,

At times, I can be as graceful as a swan,

But, I can also be as fierce as a lioness.

Girl, woman…

Whatsoever

You are a warrior

Break it, rule over it, smash it…

You will shine either way

At times, I might be as fragile as a piece of glass.

But I am no less than anyone.

I,by myself, can put all the pieces back together.

At times, I fear the fire.

But, I can also become the fire.

I bleed and scream through the night

But never give up!

Some say that I am a creature…

No! I am the creator!

I am divine, fearless, majestic…

Some say that I am too bossy

No! I simply have outstanding leadership skills!

Some tell me to remain quiet!

Never! Imma scream at the top of my lungs!

Try to hurt me,

And I am going to reveal my inner Goddess to you!
