Plumes engages
Say a mantra for me

Anitah Aujayeb.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs,d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
If time spares you some time
Say a mantra for me, only a line
If life smiles at your tasks multiple
Utter a prayer for me, if possible
When the rose petals droop in your garden
Keep some for me, one, three or ten
When the clouds are gone and left
Send them all the prayers I kept
At the untimely end of the rueful day
Grieve not for me, keep me at bay
At the brim of the eye, keep not a tear
Let it fall for its sake, a single droplet mere
At each breath, many in a minute inhaled
Keep the spirit and my passion exhaled
At each step, long or short, cautiously taken
Think of me and my faith, bruised but unshaken
At each wink of the eye, let the eyelid recall
The beauty of the unseen, unheard spectacle
If time gives you some extra time as present
Keep that best gift for me in life’s untold descent
If time spares you some extra time
Say a mantra for me, only a line
